INEOS

INEOS is a global manufacturer of petrochemicals, specialty chemicals and oil products. It comprises 17 businesses each with a major chemical company heritage. Its production network spans 64 manufacturing facilities in 14 countries throughout the world. The company produces more than 37 million tonnes of petrochemicals, 20 million tonnes per annum of crude oil refined products (fuels). INEOS employs 15,500 people and has sales of around $ 47 billion.

 

Description of the department contributing to the execution of the project

The INEOS technical department is responsible for supporting the production units and improving manufacturing technology of the INEOS processes. It has the disposal of a small R&D group responsible for product development, close plant support and customer support.

 

Role of INEOS in the OCMOL project:

INEOS is a proven leader in the production of specialty chemicals for use in polyethylene, lubricants, fuel additives, surfactants, and other specialty materials. It has a strong track record of product quality, engineering excellence and innovation and will be involved in process engineering and economic evaluation of the OCMOL process.
