Course on Microporous Mesoporous Materials organized by SINTEF for EU project OCMOL (May 24th, 2011)

The course is arranged for young researchers/PhD students in the field of catalysis and material synthesis. The main focus is catalyst preparation, characterization and separation, but should also be a valuable supplement for researchers focusing on catalyst testing.

The intention with the course is to create an overview of crystalline porous materials and their properties. Following topics will be covered:

• Overview of different classes of crystalline porous materials.
• XRD characterization of crystalline porous materials.
• Materials properties and processes taking place on porous materials investigated by theoretical calculations.
• Presentation of different application areas (for example separation and catalysis).
• Approaches and challenges in industrial applications.

Registration fee:

EUR 100. The fee covers the participation, coffee and lunch breaks.
